Help Our Fauquier Neighbors in Need

Your donation to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will directly assist your neighbors in Fauquier County to:

• Pay rent, so they can keep their shelter;
• Pay utilities, so they will have water, heat and electricity;
• Get food and other household staples from the food pantry;
• Receive friendly support and encouragement in a time of need.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is one of the oldest organizations in the world, established in France in 1833. But every chapter is set up to help neighbors at a local level - anyone who is in need. The St. John chapter is sponsored by St. John the Evangelist church in Warrenton, and helps anyone in need living in Fauquier County. 

In the past year SVDP served 251 families in need, providing $100,202 in rent and/or utility expenses. The food pantry served 1,613 people. Your generous financial gifts and food donations make all the difference in serving the needy among us. 100% of your donation goes to helping those in need!

How can you help?

• Food donations directly to the food bank, located at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
• Volunteer your time to serve local neighbors.
• Refer those in need to our helpline, 540-270-6774 (financial assistance) or 540-718-2031 (food pantry).
