The Sofei Group Inc

The SOFEI Group, Inc. (formerly Virtuous Enterprises, Inc. has educated and empowered underserved women and girls of the Washington region to achieve success in academic, business, and work environments since 1999. 

Each client served has had a compelling story that fuels our work and solidifies our existence.  T. Birch* - a single mother was unemployed for nine months before coming to The SOFEI Group, Inc. to receive Microsoft Office Certification training.  Behind her big smile, was anger, guilt, and shame for being unemployed. 

For nine months, she traveled to a local One Stop Career center looking for work and had not had one interview.  After receiving a career assessment, career development training, and a revised resume, T. Birch had nine interviews within nine weeks of our training program.  This experience restored hope and her confidence in knowing she had skills a company could benefit from and use.  And, based on her perseverance, she secured full time employment after completion of the Microsoft Office Specialist Certification training.
