Sofias Helping Hand Corp

I started this nonprofit at 13 when I was genetically diagnosed with a rare disease called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and having been helping kids battle illnesses for almost 5 years now. EDS is a connective tissue disorder and there is no cure or actual treatment so I run this organization with a passion to help youth find hope and community when faced with medical challenges.

I started this non-profit organization to help kids cope with stressful and scary disorders. The first project I started was donating zebras to kids diagnosed with EDS or other connective tissue disorders. I have also created support groups for these children and their parents. I do not want anyone to feel the way I did going through the diagnosis process. I have since gone on to help kids in infusion centers, kids battling cancer, arthritis, diabetes, autism, and many other childhood disorders and diseases. I have worked closely with the community and my school to raise awareness and funds for medical research and support for kids going through tough medical times.  Please follow my page and if you want to be a part of the organization join our charity group.
