Solar NV is the Southern Nevada chapter of the American Solar Energy Society. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate Nevadans about the benefits of renewable energy and to encourage and promote the use of sustainable energy technology. Founded in 2004, Solar NV has long been a consistent voice for clean, renewable energy, one of Nevada’s greatest resources. Our monthly events are free and feature interesting presentations on a broad range of topics including many education events focused on informing solar customers. We host several annual events, including the Southern Nevada Solar Home Tour (as part of the National Solar Home Tour), the Nevada Renewable Energy Leadership Awards Banquet (Crinis) as well as aSummer Solstice Golf Tournament. Another annual occurrence is the Solar NV Scholarship Award.

Our members consist of those interested in renewable energy, businesses and individual homeowners who benefit from clean power on a daily basis, as well as many who work directly in the field, including installers, consultants, engineers and educators.
