To give to our community by promoting art, artists, and art education through leadership and service in the belief that an artistic awareness is essential to the well-being of life and our community.

Our Vision
To be a premier art organization that supports and serves our community by nurturing a culture of creativity through education, events, and activities that connect the arts to the human spirit.
The organization offers high quality art activities, education and programs for a broad spectrum of constituents. Notable program include:
● Hidden in the Hills Artist Studio Tour - providing an opportunity for the public to visit the workspaces of dedicated artists in the Sonoran Foothills, to learn about the artist's methodology and process and to purchase directly from them in a friendly, engaging atmosphere that showcases quality art.
● Empty Bowls Project - a community collaboration with the Foothills Food Bank in support of World Hunger Day.
● Educational Scholarships for graduating high school Seniors designed to encourage continued art studies, and summer scholarships for youth art camps.
● Youth Art Programming - special events dedicated to enrichment and development of artists under 18 including workshops, exhibitions, mentoring on 'the business of art', and Studio 1 during Hidden in the Hills display and sales opportunities.
● Art in Public Places - in partnerships with local towns, municipalities and businesses Art in Public Places helps to shape the creative identity of our community by displaying free art exhibitions featuring local artists and turning modern work environments into places of inspiration.
● Veteran Art Program - bridging the United States Armed Forces and the arts community by bringing the arts and art education to veterans and military through free art classes, special events, and exhibitions.
● Art Education - Offering a variety of workshops to foster and develop creative talents. Art education workshops provide opportunities to explore the arts and immerse yourself through hands-on learning. Workshops are taught by professional artists who are also experienced instructors. Learning opportunities are available for all age groups and experience levels.
The Sonoran Arts League Center for the Arts and The Center for Arts Education, provide an identifiable creative destination for a wide variety of art activities, allow for expansion of programs and free art workshops, free meeting space, attract more participation from constituent groups, increase opportunities for partnerships with business and community organizations, and demonstrate our commitment to artists, art education and the art community.
