Soroptimist International of the Arizona Peaks

Soroptimist International of the Arizona Peaks offers a clothing boutique here in Flagstaff for women who are in need of professional clothing and could use that extra helping hand to grow and reach the next step in their life. Women in Flagstaff are referred to our clothing boutique through organizations around town such as: Goodwill, New Hope Cottage, Sharon Manor and other women's shelters.  Our Soroptimist Members meet the women on scheduled days of the week to help them select and put together stylish outfits appropriate for their upcoming events, including job interviews, court dates, work attire, etc.  We recently added a new section for teens, Destiny's Corner, which we are excited to offer to young ladies in high school. The women that come into our boutique are transformed by selecting up to three outfits, accessories and all. They walk out of our boutique with a new sense of confidence, ready to conquer the world, seeing themselves in a whole new positive light. This project is near and dear to all of our members hearts. In order to provide this clothing boutique to those in need free of charge, it costs our club roughly $500 a month in rent and utilities as well as all of the hours that go into upkeep, maintenance, organization, setting appointments, receiving new clothing, and attending appointments. All of our members are involved in donating their time to keep Hope’s Closet running. The cash part of paying rent and utilities is what we are seeking help with. We are asking for donations specifically to fund the overhead of Hope's Closet so that we can keep the doors open and keep helping the women in our community. We are a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible. Please consider what you can do to help fund Hope’s Closet in its mission of helping women in need around Flagstaff.
