Since our charter on April 10, 1948, Soroptimist International of Riveside, a non-profit 401 (c),  has battled to keep its vision alive. It is our goal to help women and girls have the resources and opporunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams.

Through our Salute to Service Awards event we have helped women and young girls with monetary awards to encourage them to finish their education and reward their volunteeer efforts.

This year we are already planning our 8th annual Live Your Dream Conference. Every year we invite over a hundred 7th and 8th grade girls to day-long conference, free of charge, in which they get to listen and be inspired by panels of women in various professions such as finance, medical, law enforcement, television and others. Our surveys prove that over 90% of these girls have found the conferences helpful and beneficial. We've read numerous surveys saying, "This was the best day of my life" and "This has changed my perspective about school." Our goal for our girls is to help them achieve their goals through furthering their education. Of course none of this would be possible without the help from the public and we ask that you support our programs and our efforts to improve the lives of women and girls.
