Our mission is to support programs and initiatives that improve the lives and status of women and girls locally and throughout the world.

Established in 1984, Soroptimist International of the San Tans is based in Chandler, Arizona.

Our all-volunteer, nonprofit organization achieves our mission by providing financial support to empower disadvantaged women who are the sole breadwinners for their families, to pursue advanced education and improve their economic status.

We also support girls and young women who are striving to make a difference in the community through service work.

Finally, we provide financial support to local nonprofits that are carefully selected for their effectiveness in contributing to the well-being of women and girls. Our grants support organizations working to overcome domestic violence, child abuse, homelessness, and similar challenges that threaten the livelihood of girls and women in Arizona and globally.

Our local chapter raises and gives more than $10,000 annually to charities that support women and children with food, clothing, education, shelter and hope.

Your tax-deductible contribution will help to further our reach to women and girls in need within Arizona and around the world, and the nonprofit organizations that share our mission.
