Sound Communities and Bremerton Housing Authority are excited to join the Kitsap Great Give for the first time!

Sound Communities empowers Bremerton Housing Authority residents to thrive through community support.

We are currently seeking additional support for the young adult residents at our newest affordable housing complex, Evergreen Bright Start, poised to begin occupancy by summer 2024.

About Evergreen Bright Start

Evergreen Bright Start is intended to be an apartment complex located at 811 Warren Avenue in Bremerton, Washington. It will have 24 studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, four units set aside for on-site services, and two units set aside for live-in property managers. It will provide foundational community support for young people, ages 18-24, helping them to thrive and putting them on a pathway for lifetime positive outcomes. Services will include healthcare, educational guidance, work training opportunities, case management, and individual treatment as necessary.

Donations through Sound Communities will be used to provide additional resources to incoming young adult residents so BHA and our partners can curate a holistic healing environment to promote pride in place and foster recovery and independence.
