Soup Kitchen

The Soup Kitchen is open 7 days a week, 364 days a year (Everyday except Thanksgiving), from noon until 1pm.  In 2015, 56,000 meals were served. 

 

The Soup Kitchen is a volunteer based organization, relying on the donations of individuals, businesses, corporations and churches to remain open.  

 

Each dollar donated pays for one meal at the Soup Kitchen.  Every dollar really does make a difference.  

 

The Soup Kitchen is a warm, inviting environment in which patrons are treated as our guests.  They are given a hot, nutritious meal and a safe place to spend an hour of their day.  

Thirty one teams volunteer monthly at the soup kitchen, with each team consisting of 10-15 volunteers.  

Please remember every dollar donated makes a difference.  One $ equals One meal.  We appreciate each and every dollar you can spare.  

While unemployment in our community is somewhat low, under employment continues to be our biggest issue.  Many working families utilize the soup kitchen, espeically on the weekends and during school breaks to stretch their food dollars.
