South Bay Wildlife Rehab (SBWR) is a 501 (3) C non-profit dedicated to caring for California native birds and educating the public about the natural world. We rehabilitate over 1000 sick, injured and orphaned birds for return to the wild every year and see over 30,000 children and adults with wildlife and environmental education. Our education birds play a vital role in our mission. Therefore SBWR has devoted to providing care and training for our newest member of our education team a non-releasable Peregrine Falcon. This bird was unable to fly to its full capabilities and when x-rayed it was discovered she has pellets in her chest. She will now live in captivity, which requires special housing specific for her needs. Most importantly she will serve as an ambassador for all wildlife. Please help us raise the funds needed for this birds new home!
