SCT, the best "little" theatre in North Shelby County, Alabama, produces six mainstage plays each year, attracting approximately 3,000 audience members annually. Our children's program offers two workshops during the school year and a two-week summer camp, which allow children ages 9-16 the opportunity to study the craft of acting by producing a production.  Adult workshops with theatre professionals like Equity actress Jeanmarie Collins and Auburn University at Montgomery professor Neil David Seibel keep our artists sharp.  SCT has won "Best in Show" at recent state festivals and represented Alabama at the Southeastern Theatre Conference with "Driving Miss Daisy," "Agnes of God," and "Sylvia. In 2015 SCT, along with the Wetumpka Depot Theatre will represent Alabama at SETC with their production of "'Night, Mother". Your generous donations will help us to continue our fifteen year tradition of quality theatre programming. SCT is a proud member of the Alabama Conference of Theatre (ACT), the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC), and the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT).
