The South Jersey Cultural Alliance has played a role in the story of its nonprofit cultural organizations since its inception in 1992.  Perhaps you have visited one of our historic sites, experienced the opportunity to attend a musical or children’s theatre, hiked in some of our nature preserves or taken your children to one of our museum art classes.  Southern New Jersey benefits from the more than 120 cultural organizations that are full of life, creativity and passion for the work they love. Please visit for our full directory.

We know that you know the power of the arts and history within this vibrant region and that your generosity will be deeply appreciated for now and for many years to come.

When thinking of the arts in our world, playwright Wendy Wasserstein stated "the arts reflect profoundly the most democratic credo, the belief in an individual vision or voice...The arts' belief in potential gives each of us -- both audience and creator -- pride in our society's ability to nurture individuals."

Now, more than ever, your help is needed. We ask that you help us preserve the vibrant arts, history and cultural organizations that support the region's economic and community development, education, tourism, and health and wellness.

Your support for our future will help us continue to build stronger and more vibrant cultural resources, enhance civic engagement in communities and preserve these organizations for generations to come.

SJCA is supported by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the New Jersey Historical Commission and the Horizon Foundation for New Jersey.
