Our Values

God-Exalting Worship

We were created to worship. Although many other things compete for our affection, we were always meant to worship God and God alone. From our gatherings on Sunday to the way we live every day of the week, we are a people committed to exalting God. (Psalms 99:5; Psalms 138:2)

Gospel-Centered Preaching

The Gospel is the message of all that God has done for us through Jesus and His death and resurrection. It’s this message that will forever transform the lives of those who embrace it. Apart from Jesus we are nothing; in Jesus, we have everything we need. Therefore, we will boldly and unapologetically preach this message. (1 Corinthians 1:23, 2:1-2; 2 Timothy 4:2)

Authentic-Biblical Community

We were never meant to live life alone. Instead, we were created for community. Following Jesus requires that we develop relationships with other like-minded believers who will encourage us, challenge us, and speak into our lives as we grow to become more like Jesus. (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25)

Extravagant Generosity

We serve an extravagantly generous God. When we least deserved it, God demonstrated His love for us by sending Jesus to die for us so that we could be reconciled to our Creator. In response to such generosity, we are now called to be generous people with our time, our resources, and our lives. (John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8; 1 Timothy 6:18)

Sacrificial Service

Life is to be lived on mission for God both inside and outside the church. While gathered, we are to use our gifts to serve one another. While scattered, we’re to be intentional where we live, work, and play to serve others. (Mark 10:45; Colossians 1:29; Philippians 2:5-8)

Radical Witness

Because lost people matter to God, they should matter to us. The message of Jesus and all He accomplished on the cross is a message that needs to be told. Therefore, we will boldly proclaim Jesus whenever and wherever possible. (Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 3:15-16; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; John 3:16)

Prayerful Dependence

Prayer draws us into greater intimacy with God through praise, thanksgiving, listening, as well as making our request known. Whether we acknowledge it or not, we are completely dependent upon God for everything. We will be a people who prayerfully seek God for the things only He can do so that He gets the glory. (Mark 1:35; Acts 2.42; Ephesians 3.20-21; 1 Thessalonians 5.17; Hebrews 11:1,6)
