Southbury Land Trust is a 501(c)3 conservation nonprofit that preserves (forever!) farmland, open space, and natural resources for the benefit of present and future
residents of Southbury.

You have helped us to protect these preserved lands in perpetuity. 

We follow best practices to support the environmental communities and wildlife within
these conserved preserves. 

Our mission extends to share and connect the love of the land with the community.

Here's how:

• Many of our Southbury Land Trust spaces are open to the public for passive recreation.


• Our volunteer stewards maintain miles of hiking trails.


• We provide a variety of educational programs, events, and hikes throughout the year. 

You are the reason for our success in conserving more than 2,000 acres since 1978.
