Southeast Ministry

Southeast Ministry is a grass roots social justice ministry of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation that listens to the needs of the community and develops culturally sensitive education programs that address the root causes of social problems such as poverty, illiteracy, and violence.

Located in the heart of southeast Washington DC, Southeast Ministry annually provides education and employment services for approximately 700 low-income persons.

Great things are happening at SEM! We just recieved word that another one of our clients, Tamara has passed the GED and Larry walked through our door with his security job uniform on from his new job! We are working to help those in need!
