Southern Colorado Repertory Theatre Ltd

A nonprofit organization

SCRT began as a collaboration with Trinidad State Junior College in 2003.  In 2006, SCRT became an independent non-profit with a mission to promote the performing arts, bolster the local economy, revitalize Downtown Trinidad, and enrich our community.  We now offer live theater year-round, with a mixture of professional and community productions.  In 2013, SCRT was instrumental in Trinidad's designation of a Creative District by the State of Colorado.

In 2014, we are offering our most ambitious season to date:  Oklahoma, the beloved Rogers and Hammerstein musical, is opening June 20, 2014.  The Liar, a gorgeous comedy, opens July 5.   One Man, Two Guvnors, a delightful British farce, opens July 18.  All three shows will play in repertory until August 30.

In order to bring quality live theater to Trinidad, we need your tax-deductible donations to help us meet our budget.  Our ticket sales account for approximately 25-30% of our production costs.  We need the community as much as the community needs us!

Our professional season brings in approximately $1 million to the community of Trinidad. We want to continue to be an economic beacon.  We want to provide entertainment.  We want to be a valued member of the community.

Help us meet our goal, and keep live theater in Trinidad.  Make your tax-deductible donation today.
