Since opening its doors in the spring of 2000, the Closet has been a lifesaver for people in the Phoenix Metro area. The cost of medical equipment can be staggering and without the needed insurance coverage, obtaining necessary equipment may be impossible.
In 2021 alone, Southwest Lending Closet served over 5,000 clients providing the vital medical equipment needed to ensure successful recovery from a multitude of medical issues. Our clients saved $1 million in 2021 from borrowing free equipment from the closet.
In 2021 our volunteers gave a record 8,632 hours of service allowing us to serve clients from 71 towns across Arizona - from Yuma to Page, and everywhere in between.
