Spaulding Education Fund

Programs funded by SEF advance and enrich learning and bring excitement and enthusiasm to our classrooms. These initiatives support curriculum not currently funded by the district’s budget.

The Spaulding Education Fund is a volunteer organization whose mission is to help assure academic excellence in Manchester Essex public schools. Formed in 1988, SEF solicits tax-deductable donations to support grants submitted by teachers, administrators, students, and members of the community.

Donor contributions fund grants that help student achievement in core subjects such as math, reading, writing, science, foreign languages, music, art and physical education.

The Spaulding Education Fund is a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization.  SEF has no endowment, and relies completely on donations made by members of our community.

Manchester and Essex public schools are indeed fortunate to have the generous support of its community.  SEF’s growth in both funding and participation over the years has resulted in significant enrichment throughout the school district in every facet of education and at every level of teaching and learning.
