Speak Up Empowerment Foundation, Inc.

We are host of the annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum. This event is our company's gift to the Single Moms throughout the Greater Long Beach area. Our Signature Event celebrates and uplifts Single Moms with an empowering program that isn't offered elsewhere.

We find that most comparable existing programs have a narrow and specific focus whereas the annual Ms. Single Mom Empowerment Forum is more inclusive. Our program offers single-parent female-headed families a full day of access to empowering business, educational, financial, family, and legal aid speakers along with other relevant resources, all in one setting.

We launched our spinoff Ms. Single Mom Mentor Program in 2018 to keep our audience engaged year-round. To date, our mentoring program has attracted 25 professional businesswomen who serve as Mentors, and approximately 50 Mentees. Our Mentors serve as life coaches who guide and support by sharing their personal experiences, acquired knowledge, and business wisdom to increase the Mentees' overall personal & professional growth.

Our programs participant demographics are:
Ages: 18 to 50+
Ethnicities: African American, Asian American, Caucasian, Latino American, Native American, and Pacific Islander
Income: 85% average $30,000 or below annually, 15% average $40,000 or higher.
