Springfield Museums

Our educational programs reach four out of five visitors. If you have ever visited the Springfield Museums, the chances are that our educational programming has already had a direct impact on you. Last year alone, we provided educational experiences to over 75,000 visitors.

We serve students, families, and adults with a huge array of educational opportunities. Our field trips and Museums on the Go! program reach over 15,000 kids all over the state, and beyond. Our family programming includes the daily activities at our Art Discovery Center, fun performances nearly every week, and week-long events during school vacation and over the summer.

Learning is a life-long activity, so we also serve adults through activities at our popular Culture & Cocktails events and with weekly talks given by local experts for our Museums a la Carte series. The list goes on–we provide travel opportunities, classes, community partnerships, teacher workshops, and camp-in programs.

But none of these are sustainable without your donation. Admission and program fees do not cover the costs associated with putting on such a robust series of educational programs. Without the financial goodwill provided by donors, we cannot continue the important work that we do.
