Springs Recovery Connection

A nonprofit organization

We are one of over 100 recovery community organizations in the nation and the first in Colorado Springs. Our board, volunteers, and founder are all comprised of people in long term recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Our founder (Cathy Plush) founded Springs Recovery Connection through the first hand experience of not knowing where to go to get adequate help for a loved one who was struggling with addiction. After much research and watching The Anonymous People, and assembling a team, Springs Recovery Connection was born. Springs Recovery Connection's mission is to strengthen the recovery community through peer-to-peer and family support, public education and advocacy. Our mission includes: >Demystifying addiction to alcohol and other drugs through public awareness and educate the community about the disease of addiction and the reality of long term recovery. >Provide recovery support systems for the community through mentoring, workshops, community awareness activities and resources. >Advocate for addiction policy changes: helping the addict find recovery, not creating barriers. We partner with our community to focus on solutions for recovery.
