Squashdrive

 

SquashDrive is a Bay Area non-profit that follows in the footsteps of successful urban squash programs around the country including CitySquash in New York, SquashBusters in Boston, and SquashSmarts in Philadelphia. We currently serve 24 4th, 5th, and 6th graders with plans to continue growing in the coming years.

SquashDrive is partnered with Berkley Maynard Academy, an Aspire Public School in Oakland where 70% of the students receive free or reduced lunches. We offer athletic and academic programing three hours a day, five days a week throughout the school year, and students attend squash camps during school vacations. Drawing on the volunteer work of talented and motivated college students and squash enthusiasts, SquashDrive intends to track its students through high school and into college.
