St. Anthony-Akron School

St. Anthony School has been serving the North Hill neighborhood of Akron since 1954.  Today, the school serves mostly former refugees from Southeast Asia and Africa.  Whether Mon, Ka'ren, Nepali, Congolese or anywhere around the world, St. Anthony lives out its theme to learn, serve, and grow TOGETHER!

This year, we are trying to add a reading tutor to help students who are a bit behind with their comprehension skills.  We want our students to be competitive with their suburban counterparts by the time they get to St. Vincent-St. Mary, Walsh, or Hoban.  

We will need about $20,000 in order to make this position a reality in our school for the 2nd half of the year.  Please consider helping our legal immigrant population achieve the American dream!
