St Augustine Parish

Since 1860 St. AugustineChurch has served both the spiritual and humanitarian needs of the community. We have opened our doors to all who find themselves on the margins of society. Our diverse ministries includes services to those with mental health needs, blindness, deafness, cognitive and intellectual delays, as well as poverty and hunger needs.  

After much input and research, it has become clear that our church lighting is not adequate for those who rely on sign language or with vision loss to fully participate in the life of the Church.

Recent light studies have revealed that several areas of our church only give 6 light candles of light when we should be closer to 18 foot candles. This realization has brought this critical need to the forefront. We are seeking assistance in making our church a place of welcome and full accessibility to those who come to pray, worship, and be church.
