Established in 1997, St. Francis Society Animal Rescue is an all volunteer, 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to saving and improving the lives of homeless cats and dogs by providing health care and placement in suitable, forever homes.

St. Francis does not have a central shelter so we rely on one of the largest networks of foster homes in the state to care for and socialize the animals in our charge. In 2017, we helped families with veterinary expenses and found homes for over 1500 homeless dogs and cats in the Tampa Bay area.

St. Francis Society gives hope, love, and veterinary care to sick and injured pets who, for lack of funds, would otherwise be euthanized. We are often an animal's only chance for survival. This care is very expensive and, as we receive no government funding, we depend on the generosity of our donors and supporters to help us save these little lives.

We are a "no kill" rescue that euthanizes animals only when medically necessary.

Your support enables us to save so many innocent lives. Please consider St. Francis Society Animal Rescue as your charity of choice on this Give Day!
