Some of the program accomplishments are as follows:
After-school Tutoring Program - St. John CIC has delivered Supplemental Educational Tutoring Services (SES) administered using the Study Technology Program ASAP. Students who participate in this program are under achievers. They are pre-tested to determine their grade and academic deficiencies that need remedial assistance. Statistical data from post-testing results show after at least 30 hours of tutoring, students on an average increase their academic levels in math and or reading by at least two grade levels.

Twenty first Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) After-school Program - In Partnership with (JOSH) St. John CIC has delivered the ASAP Tuoring component to students who attend two after-school sites St. John AME Church and Normandy United Methodist Church. These students attend low performing schools and are offered after school meals, academic support, homework assistance, social/cultural enrichment activities, field trips, and recreation.

Project Work-Start - This is a six-week summer teen employment program developed to offer on the job training for teens 14-16 years of age. The program is supported by local corporations and organizations and its primary focus is to prepare the teens for the work force. Teens who participate are taught job readiness skills through employment application training, resume writing, interview techniques, financial planning, and career goal setting which together help establish work ethics. At the end of a successful program completion, a financial stipend is provided to each participant.

Summer Learning Enrichment Program - This is summer learning and fun camp, serving children 5-13 years of age from June through August; its goals are accomplished by offering two nutritious meals, academics tutoring in deficient areas, a summer reading club, social/cultural enrichment activities, field trips, recreation, and parent seminars.
