St. Louis Altenheim

St. Louis Altenheim is located in the historic Carondelet neighborhood, sitting alongside the Mississippi River. Since our inception in 1899, St. Louis Altenheim has provided housing for the aging population and allowed to stay at our residence even after they have used all their funds. A registered CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community), our award-winning 5 levels of care ranging from independent care to skilled nursing has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report (2018-2019). We also have received the prestigious title of Bronze Commitment to Quality Award by the AHCA/NCAL.

We live out our mission with the tagline: "Boutique Senior Living," which means that we are dedicated to providing attentive and personalized care for our residents. Every single activity, dining option and nursing care decision is made with the resident and their family for the resident.

Over the past year coronavirus has weathered long-term care communities across the world. Often times we see signs acknowledging employees as health care heroes, we even had a sign posted in our residence during the toughest times of the pandemic. In response to this, our administration has decided to focus Give STL Day fundraising for enriching the lives of our employees. This year we would like to expand our wifi at the St. Louis Altenheim. We have limited wifi and would like to expand it to our 5th floor and the ground level where we host activities to engage Residents, family members, and other guests . With your donation, we will continue providing award-winning service for our residents by improving their ability to participate in activities to engage them on a daily basis and to be able to utilize the wifi to keep in contact with families and friends.
