St. Mel Church, located in the West Park neighborhood in Cleveland has been a much loved parish since 1945.  St. Mel school educated many generations of students until it closed in 2010. Thankfully since then the school building has continued to be a wonderful place of education as a charter school.  While there is amazing education happing with the people , the actual building is in need of desperate help! The school building windows are original to the main building and the addition. They have deteriorated over the years to the point of not being able to keep the elements out, not keeping the air conditioning in and in general being unsafe for the teachers and students in the school. IT IS TIME FOR WINDOW REPLACEMENT! We are installing new windows in the entire school building that will provide the required level of safety, keep the air conditioning from escaping, help with heat retention and sun glare in the classrooms.

The project is estimated to cost $300,000, which includes replacing the existing windows and repairing the window surrounds - both inside and out.

We have already received a very generous $104,000 donation that will be used to help offset the cost of the project, but we still need your help to make this project a reality!

Your generous donations will become a permanent part of St. Mel Parish which will improve the quality of education with a safe, temperature controlled building!
