The St. Jude Society of Metairie

SPIRITUAL MINISTRY. The Society hosts two St. Jude Novenas - one in June and one in October at St. Mary Magdalen Church located at 6425 West Metairie Avenue, Metairie, LA 70003. We have a St. Jude Prayer Line for those who contact us asking for prayers for people in need of St. Jude's help. CORPORAL MINISTRY. The Society also provides for the corporal needs of our community.

Baby layettes to the Archdiocese's Access Pregnancy program
Events hosted annually at the SE LA War Veterans Home in Reserve, LA - Snacks, special desserts, bingo and bingo prizes given to our Veterans
$500 monthly donated to St. Mary Magdalen Church Food Pantry, members prepare and distribute food baskets weekly for the needy
Special Food baskets at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter are prepared and distributed to the needy
Custom made bullet proof vests donated to members of a local law enforcement agency
Funds and supports other needs in the community through monetary and volunteer assistance as needed
