St. Martin de Porres Catholic School

We offer a Classical Education with a low Student/Teacher Ratio which provides more personalized learning in a nurturing environment.

Character formation, moral development, self-discipline, the value of service to others, respect for self and others are instilled through religious education.

SMdP students learn to give back to the community through a variety of programs including: Angel Tree, Wreaths Across America, hurricane relief, and visits to nursing homes, to name just a few programs in which our students participate.

In the past, students have placed at Private School Interscholastic Competition and at the State Competition.

The SMdP Archery Team has gone to both State and National Championships in years past.

We offer the Outdoor Adventures Program for middle school students.

Our Needs

Funds raised this year during the North Texas Giving Day event will go toward tuition assistance for our School families. Many of our School families experienced a loss of income as a result of the pandemic and are still recovering from the financial impacts. We need the help of our Parish and our community to assist those families who prefer an education which is dedicated to the growth not only to the development of their child's mind, but also their student. We offer a quality Catholic education with a classical academic curriculum encompass-ing technology, foreign language, music, art, and physical education for all grades. The purpose of a classical education is to develop the intellectual skills that equip a student to think critically.
