Stand for Children - Washington

We are a unique catalyst in Washington for education equity and racial justice to create a better future for us all.

Stand aims to raise $10,000 this year to fuel the great work of our community.

Your support will:

Support parent power and youth voice organizing work that has led to the passage of laws and policies that advance education equity and racial justice statewide 

Provide effective resources to educators, so they can support students during their make-or-break ninth-grade year and help them get and stay on track for high school graduation 

Help district leaders eliminate existing racial disparities in “advanced courses” -- the classes that prepare high schoolers for post-secondary credentials, college and careers 

Help eradicate barriers like juvenile fines and fees, unjust barriers that keep youth from successfully engaging in school and preparing for life after involvement in juvenile institutions
