Standing Cedars Community Land Conservancy Inc

A nonprofit organization

Standing Cedars Community Land Conservancy was established to create a greenway along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, NW Wisconsin's moving national park. We help safeguard a large, continuous corridor for the many rare and significant native species. The incredible ecological quality of the Lower St. Croix valley, and the urgent need to protect the land before it is lost to development, has been widely supported. To be truly effective, we must do more to care for the land.

Your gift today allows Standing Cedars to conserve and restore habitat, ensuring diverse natural communities for plants and animals to live and thrive.

Standing Cedars' privately held land provides free public access to over 1500 acres for outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, birding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and hunting by permit. We have protected over 1700 acres, including some of the highest quality natural areas along the St. Croix River. Standings Cedars is an all volunteer nonprofit organization deeply rooted within the community, and is dedicated to safeguarding land in the Lower St. Croix to conserve the natural environment now, and for the future.
