WHO WE ARE
Since 1997, STAR Foundation of Coastal Georgia has inspired transformation of over 1,400 lives throughout Southeast Georgia. STAR is a non-profit organization providing workforce development and computer training programs designed to help people gain and maintain employment and educational success. STAR Foundation serves adults of all educational levels and social backgrounds, especially those living in poverty or not making a livable wage.Â
WHAT WE DO
STAR's Employment Training Program offers a holistic approach to employment, education, financial management, technology and life skills training. Each course provides foundational skills, support, and self-confidence for students to begin their journey from poverty to self-sufficiency. STAR provides people with HOPE, helps them BELIEVE, GROW and SUCCEED! Â
