Station 1 Records

Station 1 Records is a non-profit, artist development organization that manages, promotes and distributes artists from Des Moines and greater Iowa.  We strive to work with all communities of our hometown of Des Moines to assist in artist business development, and to be just one piece in the diverse artistic tapestry of which we are a part.

We're a different kind of record label, one that focuses on artist development through patron support.  There is a direct link between the community and our artists, they aren't beholden to a big faceless corporation, rather they're entering into a partnership with their community. A relationship that fosters the growth of the artist's small business while enriching the quality of life in our community through music, education, and entertainment.

However, developing an artist's business and developing programming is hard, expensive work; we cannot continue to develop artists or programs without ongoing support from our community, that's why we need your help!

So please, give what you can and help support the next generation of artists in our community.
