Staunton Media Alliance

WQSV/106.3 is a non-profit community radio station serving Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County, Virginia. WQSV is a project of the Staunton Media Alliance. Our mission is to foster community through music, broadcast education and discovery.

WQSV launched in February 2016 and offers local music, a community arts calendar, specialty shows, and much more.

We feel passionately that radio can bring people together to do amazing things. Music is the heartbeat of WQSV, but the friends and neighbors that come together to create, tell stories, and share their love of music are our lifeblood.

We are grateful to our many supporters who have helped us achieve amazing things in an unprecidented timeframe to make WQSV a reality. With your help, we have held fundraisers, parties, events, and concerts, all of which have helped us open the doors at our studio location in downtown Staunton.

We know that our vision is one that is sustainable and that will provide a local connection to businesses, residents, and visitors. Your contributions will have an immediate and direct impact on making WQSV your go-to station for great music, local interest programming, and local underwriting. Your support will help us keep the lights on and our studio doors open to you, your music, your voice, and your community.

Currently, WQSV is completely run by volunteers. Our operating costs and ability to offer both great music and local events is dependent on your support.
