Step 2

STEP2 is a private non-profit, STEP2 is located in Reno, Nevada. This treatment program is the only program in Northern Nevada and one of few in the country that accommodates women and their children in a comprehensive holistic environment.

STEP2 offers Residential, Transitional and Out-Patient levels of care and integrates the following services: addiction therapy, childcare, transportation, case management, parenting education, job placement, psychosocial education, financial education, nutrition, creative expressions and domestic violence intervention and prevention.

STEP2 empowers each client to succeed and become a productive member of society while supporting and encouraging recovery for up to 18 months. Since many clients are suffering from poverty in addition to chemical addiction, no woman is ever turned away because of her inability to pay for treatment.
