Stepping Stone Mission of Franklin County

Fueling hope, one hand-prepared meal at a time – join us in making a difference where hunger meets compassion in our community.  At Stepping Stone Mission soup kitchen, our purpose is to provide one meal and take-home food items to our homeless friends, families struggling to stretch resources in this economy and seniors who are most-often on a fixed budget.   Our meals are hand-prepared by a pool of over 200 volunteers and our part-time kitchen staff.   We serve individuals, regardless of gender, race, religion, age, ability or orientation across Franklin County.  Our doors are open 365 days a year to anyone who finds themselves or their family in need of a meal. 

Stepping Stone Mission relies on the generosity of others, yearly fundraisers and grant awards to financially support our service to the Franklin County area.  We rely on volunteers who give their time to cook and serve our meals every day - without volunteers we simply would not be able to do what we do.  Whether you choose to donate financially,  donate your time or share our organization and message across your preferred social platforms, your action will further our efforts to eliminate hunger one meal at a time.
