Stockton Blvd Community Development Corporation

A community development corporation (CDC) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated to provide programs, offer services and engage in other activities that promote and support community development. CDC’s usually serve a geographic location such as a neighborhood or a town. Our CDC focuses on serving lower-income residents and or struggling neighborhoods. We are in dire need of financial assistance in order to continue helping the community we serve.

We are often involved in a variety of activities including economic development, education, community organizing and real estate development. The Stockton Boulevard and neighboring community, according to the 2020 census, has one of the most diverse areas in the south area of Sacramento serving over 10 plus cultures and languages. We strive to ensure that information regarding services, safety, and health is available in all languages, especially during this unprecedented time. We provide free professional services such as dental screenings, senior safety and other numerous safety programs, educational tools, frequent giveaways (food, school supplies, masks, testing kits, cleaning supplies, etc.) and other services while providing a trusting social environment with business partners within the neighboring area. We also provide an opportunity for high school students to not only earn community service hours, but also learn to give back to their community through volunteerism. We call it (Pay It Forward)!
