National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund

A nonprofit organization

The National Breast Cancer Coalition is a collaboration of activists, survivors, researchers, grassroots groups, national organizations, and other stakeholders that have come together as disruptive innovators for social change to end breast cancer by increasing funding for breast cancer research, monitoring how those funds are spent, expanding access to quality health care for all, and ensuring that trained advocates influence all decision making that affects breast cancer.

While the majority of breast cancer research is focused on finding the next treatment drug, we are focused on two issues:

1. The causes and prevention of breast cancer metastasis (the spread of cancer), which is the cause of 95% of deaths from breast cancer.
2. How to prevent the disease from developing in the first instance.

With a unique history and an unmatched record of accomplishment in breast cancer, NBCC—ranked three-stars by Charity Navigator—links hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of individuals from across the country into a dynamic, diverse coalition to achieve our mission to end breast cancer.
