St Petersburg Historical Society

The St. Petersburg Museum of History is proud to be participating in the annual Give Day Tampa Bay.

All money raised on this day will assist the St. Petersburg Museum of History in continuing to share the Sunshine City’s stories with students of all ages, locals who have a strong bond with the Tampa Bay area, new residents interested in learning more about their new hometown, and visitors wanting to know more about St. Petersburg’s rich history.

This year’s donations will help the Museum create a new website with more educational features for students and construct a state-of-the-art historic walking tour app.

“As Tampa Bay's oldest museum, we have been sharing the area's stories for 95 years.  Our goal is to raise $5,000 on May 2, which will help us share history through today's technology” said Rui Farias, Executive Director.
