Straz Center for the Performing Arts

At The Straz, we’re more than just a show.

While people may realize we need donations, they may not know we are turning around and using those gifts to give to others.  The real drama at the Straz Center unfolds in our Patel Conservatory and in classrooms across our community, where donations give thousands of kids the chance to dream big, work hard, and express themselves to the fullest.

Ticket sales don’t cover the music teachers we send to work with lesser-served children, the scholarships for students with financial hardship and extraordinary talents, or the field trips, masterclasses and countless hours of instruction we have provided for over one million people since we opened our doors in 1987.

This is where you come into the story.
