Strengthening Transformations Inc

As a Black woman led non-profit organization built on a foundation of personal experiences through hardships and trauma, we are passionate about being of service to the people in our community and helping them transform adversities into strength. Strengthening Transformations advocates, mentors, and educates women and girls through workshops and community partnerships.  We believe that empowerment is the key to breaking generational curses and strengthening foundations.

Based in the small town of Versailles, located the Bluegrass State Kentucky; we witness first hand the lack of resources for women and girls growing up in families with broken foundations.   Most of them follow in footsteps they have seen the matriarchs of their families walk, others are even taught that is the only way of life they will know. Generational curses come in many different forms, but the outcome is the same: becoming a victim of negative patterns. 

Part of our outreach currently consists of events geared toward the community as a whole.  Our signature event Friendship Fest provides back to school supplies, "first day of school fresh" haircuts, Look Good Feel Good hygiene bags (contains, toothpaste, toothbrush, mini shampoo and conditioner set, lip balm, soap, etc.), and an overall good time for children and their families.  We also host a Young Mothers Luncheon for teen moms and their children. A speaker who relates to their lives talks about teen mother issues, and ways to press forward despite any circumstances.  

Being able to pour into the people we service is our blessing, and we want to do more in the upcoming years. 

With your support, the money we raise will contribute to the formation of educational workshops, programs and increased access to more community partnerships, allowing specific events for women and girls in our community and surrounding areas. You will be part of the solution to empower our women and girls to learn skills, help increase their confidence and encourage them to break those generational curses.
