SG United Foundation

SG United Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower girls to become their best, happiest, strongest version of themselves through sports, leadership, and mindfulness. The Foundation supports girls and women from elementary school through college age and beyond. Through physical activity, sports, mindfulness, and positive education curriculum, the after school, weekend, and summer programs teach girls how to develop their strong bodies and tap into their kind hearts and unstoppable minds. 

We run three types of programs:

• Community based programs for elementary school girls taught and coached by volunteers or in partnership with a group of university female athletes
• Strong Girls FAM (Female Athlete Mentorship): A free 1:1 mentorship program matching an elementary or middle school girl with a female college or professional athlete
• Events with Impact: Large in person events centered around the combination of fitness/sport as well as social connection and confidence and resilience training tools.

Here is how your dollars add up:

$150 provides a scholarship for a student to participate in a Strong Girls or FAM program 

$200 provides the uniforms for one team

$200 provides the book, A Strong Girls' Guide to Being, to an entire team

$2000  kicks off a new University program, training the female college student-athletes in leadership and coaching
