Strong Towns Blair

Strong Towns Blair is Local Conversations group in Blair, Nebraska. 

We are a gathering of residents passionate about building a stronger, more resilient community. 

We twice each month meet regularly to discuss the principles of the Strong Towns movement, such as prioritizing small-scale, incremental development, promoting walkability, and advocating for sustainable infrastructure investments.

We analyze local issues through the Strong Towns lens and take action on opportunities for improvement in areas like land use, transportation, and public spaces. We organize community events, engage with local officials, and undertake tactical urbanism projects (see featured campaign) to demonstrate the benefits of a Strong Towns approach. 

We are not a group that complains—we take action. Strong Towns Blair empowers citizens to take an active role in shaping the long-term prosperity and well-being of their community.
