The Studio Theatre's 2011-2012 Season has officially begun and we need your help to make it great.  

It is an incredibly ambitious season, as Studio begins to fuse the old and the new. Familiar faces are working alongside performers and designers new to the Studio family. Acclaimed Studio Theatre, Special Event, and 2ndStage productions are joined by the debut of an exciting new Studio Lab series, which brings never-before-seen work to Washington.

This season, a gift to Inside Studio, the Studio Theatre's Annual Fund, will help support a number of exciting projects at Studio:

• Two World Premiere Productions
• Four U.S. Premiere Productions
• The launch of the new Studio Lab Series
• The return of Holly Twyford, Ted van Griethuysen, and Sarah Marshall to Studio's stages
• Special Events including the celebrated multimedia troupe from London, 1927, and a one-woman play written and performed by The Daily Show's Lauren Weedman

 

Your support also ensures that The Studio Theatre can give back to its community. Each season we provide opportunities for people of all ages and financial means to partake in the joys of live theatre, through pay-what-you-can performances, apprenticeships, internships, program in DC public schools, and scholarships to The Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory.
