Sugar 4 Kids Foundation Inc

Sugar4Kids Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to creating pathways of opportunity for disadvantaged children and families in Miami-Dade County. Since its founding in 2015, Sugar4Kids has empowered more than 7,500 youth through emotional support, mentorship, educational scholarships, and community engagement.

This year, we proudly celebrate 11 years of service and prepare for our 11th Annual Holiday Toy Drive, which will take place on December 6, 2026, at Live Like Bella Park.

What began as a heartfelt vision by our founder, Mary L. Faison, has grown into a movement of hope, compassion, and community support. Through the years, we have provided free bicycles, toys, educational resources, scholarships, and encouragement to thousands of children and families throughout South Miami-Dade County. Sugar4Kids is a small grassroots nonprofit operated by a dedicated director and an amazing team of volunteers who give their time and talents to make a difference. Every success we have achieved has been made possible because of supporters who believe in our mission and the children we serve.

Last year, during Give Miami Day, we set a modest fundraising goal and were overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. Together, we raised more than $5,000, and to our surprise, those donations were matched with an additional $5,000. We never expected such an incredible blessing, and we are truly grateful for the support that allowed us to expand our impact and bring joy to even more children.

But our work does not stop during the holiday season. Sugar4Kids also provides Higher Education Scholarships to graduating seniors who have been accepted into college but face financial barriers. These scholarships help cover tuition, books, fees, and other essential expenses, allowing students to pursue their dreams and build brighter futures.

We believe that education is one of the keys to breaking the cycle of poverty and that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. That is why we are asking for your support.
