The Park City Ice Miners (PCIM) support over 165 kids playing youth hockey from ages 5 to 16.

Throughout the season, PCIM participates in Select level as well as URL – Utah Recreational League - games and tournaments.

It takes a lot of money to run a successful youth hockey program.

  • It costs $190 for one hour of ice time (we buy over 550 hours of ice a year)
  • It costs $50 for a referee for one game (we need 2 refs/game for over 120 games/season)
  • It costs $15 for a scorekeeper for one game
  • It costs $40 for one jersey (we buy 2 jerseys/kid for 165 kids)
  • It costs $1 each for one puck (we use over 500 in just one season)

Our Mission:  PCIM is dedicated to providing a positive learning experience as we challenge our players to grow in every aspect of hockey.

Our Goals:

  • Develop  character and sportsmanship in all of our players, coaches and parents
  • Promote physical fitness among our youth in the northern Utah area
  • Promote, encourage, and improve the standard of amateur ice hockey
  • Expand the game of hockey on the Wasatch Back through public awareness

PCIM is affiliated with and operates under the guidelines of USA Hockey and the Utah State Amateur Hockey Association (“UAHA”).
