Catholic Charities Summit Hot Meals Program

Help us provide meals to those in need.

Our hardworking Summit County staff and volunteers serve more than 12,000 Hot Meals per year (Dinners Mondays and Tuesdays at Visitation of Mary Parish and Wednesdays at Blessed Trinity Parish). We are raising money for a new Food Warmer for #WeGiveCatholic Tuesday, November 28. Please consider a gift to help us purchase this much-needed piece of equipment. Our goal is $1,000. Funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for our Hot Meals Program in 2024.

Who We Are

The Catholic Charities Summit County Hot Meals Program serves nutritious, delicious, high-quality meals each Monday evening, Tuesday evening, and Wednesday afternoon. The Monday and Tuesday dinners are served at Visitation of Mary, located at 55 Broad Street in Akron, Ohio, from 4pm - 5pm. The Tuesday dinner is also served at Visitation of Mary, from 4pm - 5:30pm. The Wednesday lunch is served at Blessed Trinity, located at 300 E. Tallmadge, Akron, Ohio, from 11:30am - 1pm. All are welcome!
