Sunrise Children's Services, Inc.

Formerly known as United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay, Sunrise Children's Services has been serving children with and without disabilities since 1953. As one of the organizations supported by the Sunrise Group, we have one primary mission – to guide and assist families and individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential as valued members of their community.

Sunrise Children's Services holds firm to the belief that all individuals have worth and dignity; that they possess the inalienable rights to learn, to work, and to live feeling and knowing that they are a part of the community at large. These principles guide all of us to ensure that the children we support receive the utmost assistance and care so that they may truly thrive later in life.

The Sunrise Group of non-profit organizations share the same purpose of supporting men, women, and children with disabilities overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and lead a valued life within their communities. With residential services and training centers spanning seven different states, Sunrise currently serves over 2,500 individuals, helping them to become their best selves.

Starting back in 1965, from a single property in Miami, Florida, the Sunrise Group has rapidly expanded, incorporating other organizations with the same mission, all for the sake of providing the best care possible to the people that we support.
